CDP Climate Change 2023
GGC participated in the CDP assessment on climate change management for the third year in a row and received a score of A-, reflecting the Company's commitment. in managing risks and impacts from climate change, which is part of sustainability operations.
S&P ESG CSA 2023
GGC participated in S&P ESG CSA 2023 assessment, a well-known Corporate Sustainability Assessment, that leading companies around the world have participated. The assessment will be according to different industries, where GGC is categorized to be in Chemical Industry. GGC received the score of 76 out of 100, which is accounted as the 99 percentile of scores from companies in Chemical Industry and has been mentioned as 1 of the leading companies that have excellent sustainable practices within Chemical industry in S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024.
Silver 2023 Ecovadis Sustainability Rating
GGC received a Silver award from EcoVadis with a score of 65, which is an assessment of sustainability covering 4 dimensions: environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement. This reflects the operations of the Company and strengthens confidence among stakeholders in conducting business that is consistent with sustainability throughout the supply chain. The implementation of human rights projects will help increase GGC’s chances of receiving the Gold award next year.
White Banner - Green Star Award 2023
GGC was awarded the White Flag - Green Star award for the 10th consecutive year and the White Flag - Gold Star award for the 5th consecutive year for Environmental Governance and Safety by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT). This award reflects that GGC recognizes the importance of environmental management. The Company’s efforts are recognized by the public and the community. This has built confidence among investors and potential investors.
Fitch Rating
In 2023, GGC participated in Fitch Rating's assessment to provide long-term national ratings for the first time by Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and received an A- rating, which is considered an important step that leads to managing the Company's alternative financing plans effectively to continue responding to the Company’s long-term strategic plan. In addition, the rating also reflects the ability and strength of the Company's business operations, as well as enhances competitiveness and resilience to manage stressful situations in business operations, allowing the Company to make profit to its fullest potential.
Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies (CGR 2023)
GGC received the “Excellent” or 5-star corporate governance award for the fifth consecutive year from the 2022 Corporate Governance Survey of Listed Companies under the supervision of the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) with support from The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This award reflects GGC’s transparent management and equal treatment of all stakeholders, as well as the Company’s continuous focus on developing excellent corporate governance.
CSR DIW Continuous Award 2023
GGC received a certificate and a plaque for the CSR DIW Continuous Award for the year 2023 from the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry for the 9th consecutive year. This award reflects GGC’s operations with social responsibility and continuous and sustainable community development.
Sustainability Disclosure Award 2023 Category 1 Honorary Award for the third year
GGC was awarded Sustainability Disclosure Award 2023 Category 1 Honorary Award, which considers and evaluates the status of public disclosure of sustainability information and related stakeholders through corporate sustainability reports. This award reflects GGC's commitment to economic, social and environmental development for the organization to grow sustainably in accordance with the international principles of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). In addition to creating morale for organizations that disclose sustainability information to the public, it also honors the award-winning business organizations in response to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) 12.6. Currently, the Sustainability Disclosure Community (SDC) has 133 member organizations.
CEO ECONMASS Awards 2023
Mr. Kridsada Prasertsuko, Managing Director of GGC, received the Best Senior CEO and Best Senior CEO awards in the Industrial Products category from Thailand's CEO Econmass Awards 2023. The objective is to create role models for successful business leaders to inspire leaders to develop their potential and strengthen the country's competitiveness for the benefit of the economy, investment, and every sector of society. The award also takes into account the effect on the community, society and environment, as well as benefits to the national economy
